Comments: The tweed on this 3 piece wool suit is made up of deep purple, tan and cream yarns. A narrow blue and white vertical strip borders each herringbone pattern. The knickers are full length; they buckle at the ankle. Also included with this suit is a early 20th century cotton child's handkerchief stamped with the Simple Simon nursery rhyme. I found the handkerchief in one of the suit pockets and felt it should remain with the outfit.
