Materials:
Natural linen twill, muslin lining, black and white cotton tape, mother of pearl and bone buttons, steel clasps.

Condition: Excellent. Vest at center back has had a panel inserted to increase size; one pea size hole in the left trouser leg by inseam. 

Measurements: Vest: Chest, 35"; W, 31"; L, 21". Trousers: W, 33"; Inseam L, 28"; Outseam L, 38".

Comments: This summer vest and trousers is the type of ready made clothing available to the average person during the Industrial Revolution. The trousers sport a four button fly, buttons for suspenders, two side pockets and a watch pocket.  The vest is a three pocket style with adjustable back.
