#1378   Brussels Mixed Lace Hankie   c. 1880

Materials: Antique white linen cloth, cotton net. linen threads.

Condition: Perfect. Very faint ecru shading in a few of the lace leaves.

Measurements: 15.75" x 15.75".

Comments: Delicate, airy Brussels bobbin lace with geometric needlelace fillings is appliquéd onto a net reseau. This was probably used as a bride's wedding hankie due to it's large size and deep border.
