Materials:
Rose pink silk charmeuse, pink silk chiffon, ecru embroidered net lace, 5 metal hooks, 5 hand bound eyes, one mother of pearl button.

Provenance: Robe belonged to socialite Georgie Smith Young Ridgley Hebbard Wilkins. Georgie was born in San Francisco, c. 1906. She lived in Baltimore, New York City and Paris before moving to Beacon Hill, Boston where she lived for over 50 years until her death in 2001.

Label: Two labels sewn onto side seams. One, woven blue on pink: "the Tewi Lingerie  New York". The other, woven pink on white: "Tribout Shop John Wannamaker".

Condition: Perfect.

Measurements:  Sh-Sh, 13.5"; B, 34"; W, 28"; Front Robe L, 60"; Back Robe L, 68".

Comments: This incredibly sensuous bias cut peignoir is entirely hand sewn.
