Materials:
 
Black silk velvet, black silk cord, foundation wires, 9 bones, black herringbone cotton tapes, metal zipper, hooks, eyes and snaps.

Label: First label, woven pink on black, "Made To Order  Bergdorf Goodman  On The Plaza  New York"; second label, woven gray on cream with inked lettering, "Bergdorf Goodman  Mrs. Hoyt  Date: 11/2/50  No. 45851".

Condition: Perfect.

Measurements: B, 34"; W, 28"; Gown L, 50"; Hem C, 176".

Comments: Construction details on this gown are unmistakably couture quality. Interior has covered boning, all facings and bindings are all finished by hand, selvages are hand cast, etc. On the exterior, the strapless sweetheart bodice has concentric black silk cording for a subtle and dramatic effect. This ball gown is simple, classy and sexy. A timeless gown of superior quality!
