Materials:
Puce green linen, brass hook and eye, metal zipper.

Label: Woven red on cream: "Claire McCardell Clothes by Townley"

Condition: Excellent; under left sleeve two small, expert repairs (linen re-woven) and hem was taken up 1 inch. 

Measurements: B, 34; W, 25; Skirt L, 26.75"; Dress L, 44.25"; Hem C, 174".

Comments: I adore this color! Linen fabric is cut on the bias, so it has a marvelous drape to it. Exquisite tailoring - inset pockets, double top stitched seams, trade mark over sized hook and eye, cowl neckline with collar. So well made, it's easy to see why McCardell's designs are still so sought after by discriminating collectors.
